I make technical products
understood — and bought.

I'm Seren Liu. Mechanical engineering degree, half a year selling automation equipment into overseas markets, and four years building an audience that has watched my work over a million times. I sit in the gap most companies struggle to staff: someone who can read the drawing, talk to the customer, and then make the thing legible to the rest of the world.

Three capabilities that compound

Most people have one of these. The combination is the point — a machine you can explain sells better than a machine you can only build.

A

Mechanical & Manufacturing

Full-time BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Suzhou City University (2021–2025). Comfortable in SolidWorks and CAD, and fluent in engineering drawings — tolerances, sections, GD&T conventions, the language a factory floor actually speaks.

  • SolidWorks
  • CAD
  • Engineering drawings
  • Design for manufacture
B

International Business & Sales

Six months in export sales for automation equipment — sourcing enquiries, qualifying overseas buyers, and translating a spec sheet into a reason to buy. English at professional working level (CET-6); Mandarin native and certified. I can hold the technical half of a sales call without a translator in the room.

  • Export sales
  • Technical pre-sales
  • Client communication
  • Automation equipment
C

Content & Digital Delivery

Four years of content operations with numbers to show for it, plus the production stack to make it: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition. I also ship the surrounding infrastructure — websites and WeChat mini-programs — and use AI tooling as a working part of the process, not a demo.

  • Content strategy
  • Premiere · After Effects · Audition
  • Web delivery
  • WeChat mini-programs
  • AI workflows

Work with me directly

Alongside full-time opportunities, I take on a small number of independent projects. Four things I do well enough to charge for.

Content operations

Channel strategy, scripting, production and publishing cadence — for brands that need a Chinese-language audience, or technical companies whose product nobody understands yet.

Web & mini-program delivery

Marketing sites, landing pages and WeChat mini-programs. Built, deployed and handed over with documentation, not left as a half-finished prototype.

Video & audio production

Editing, motion graphics and sound in Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition. Product films, explainers, social cutdowns.

One-to-one tutoring

English and STEM subjects. Four years of it, with students who kept coming back — which is the only metric that matters in tutoring.

Tell me what you're trying to move.

Scope and rates depend on the work — send me a paragraph about the problem and I'll come back with a straight answer on whether I'm the right person for it.

About

I trained as a mechanical engineer and then kept noticing the same failure: good hardware losing to worse hardware with a better story. So I went and learned the other half — selling equipment to overseas buyers, and building an audience from nothing to seven figures of attention.

What I'm looking for is a role where both halves get used. Technical sales, overseas business development, product marketing for a manufacturer, or anything else where the job is to stand between engineering and the market and make the two sides legible to each other.

I'm based in Chengdu on UTC+8 and work comfortably with teams in Europe and North America.
